I'll try to keep the first thread up-to-date ... Thanks to Amellie for starting this off with a very comprehensive post!

Time to make some ingots. Gert said in the “The things I want…” thread that he fancies the Traumatic Reflection. So I think we should start practicing making ingots. It takes a few raids to get good at it and does not really slow us down too much.

Basically, we need to down Hathor-Ka with 19 players. Well, we need to take her down to 50% with 19 players, and then we can finish her with 21 players.
Four of the five people reserved for the ingot team must have Ibis weapons. The fifth one is the crafter. This will also gives close to 1 million artistry points to the guild.

The reason to start that now, or as soon as possible, is for the practice and because even when proficient at it, it takes a good month or so to collect all the shards and to craft 2 ingots. Each weapon or shield like the one that Gert wants, needs 2 ingots, each ingot needs 10 shards. And don’t forget, we do not need to kill the Keeper or Thoth-Amon to get T3 crafted Weapons. We can do them now. It is not like tier 2, you don’t have to kill the last boss to craft weapons.


The more we practice the better we get. This could be that every time we do Hathor-Ka, the first run is done in crafting mode and if we wipe, we then resume in normal mode with 24 players. So worst case, Hathor-Ka requires at least one wipe a week.

not sure atm what other recipes I got Alchemist wise, need to be in-game. Just give me a friendly poke

Can make the ferric rods and tumbaga. Ibis on DT. Too much pisswater in inventory and think i can make black gold also (not sure tho).

Looks like it be worth it to organise a trip to Thoth-Amon Strong hold where the keeper is dead so that we can pick up those recipes. I will do that, and then poke people that wants to spend 10 relics on the alchemist recipe. Basically we need one alchemist for each archetype.

Can you tell me which one of your characters have the Ferric rods and tumbaga please.

In terms of practising, I would consider this after a few more runs just to make sure all along are good with the tactics (we did have some problems last week with that dodgy Miasma).

Of course, but I thought it be wise to just collect information right now, as this was a problem last guild I was in. So when times comes, we will be ready and not have to run Atzel Fortress run for days.

Have truck loads of aqua regia on my chars as well, and enough shimmer silk for one Ibis on Saer.
Can easily make more though if and when required.

I have a mage alchemist and would quite like to go on some runs with other weaponsmith/alchemists who wants more receipes.

For those that don't have the weaponsmith drops ^^ they drop in halls of eternal frost and sometimes the last boss of scorpion caves.

The alchemy ones all drop from Brock the Smith in Aztels and are nice and farmable.

Yes, I like that to. Even if we don't really need it and can buy most items, it's nice to have them all on a main character. So I really like a Atzel run of the first boss or a few runs in Halls of Frost.

As soon as keeper is down, gonna buy the alchemist recipe for the ingot(priest) and as much recipes as i have relics for. Thou The subtle deep, and The eternal dream are going to be the priority.
