I plan to do a few visits into Onyx. It’s a fun dungeon and has lots of nice drops that can help people getting to level 80 and also very nice sets. Both Pre-Raid (tier 0) sets for all classes and also loads of culture recipes.

My plan is to run control runs of Onyx. I will place 2 or 3 rangers inside at very specific places. Safe place, make sure no one is in Onyx and create a new instance. Log in on the rangers and see if the rare bosses are there, if not, log out and create another instance.

I have one ranger, it would be nice to have two more. I might go and create a level 16 ranger and park it in Onyx for that purpose.

I never wanted to do this Onyx chamber more, with the vanity tab, it’s just great!

First ranger is in place. I see all the lower level rare bosses with her.

I now have my second ready, I need an escote. She is only level 16.

Any volunteers to escorte her? It's not deep this time, just a few rooms pass the front door.

Yesterday I went in Onyx with a few Guildies. Sorry I had to cut the trip short, but I hope everyone had fun anyways. We were extremly lucky on normal boss drops.

I will compile a list of the possible special drops and post it here.

There's no real raids until 75+ ish (T1 if you get a good RL will take 75+, otherwise it's 80)...but Onyx has quests from 72ish to do and can be done in a raid (although more than 12 ppl makes it a bit hard to get around down there) - other than that can't see why you shouldn't go in although the lower level you are the harder it'll be

I would be interested in going for Onyx aswell, as finding good groups for it can be kinda hard. Better to go with guild only.
Preferably with my ranger, Ocusenex but if needed i can come with any of my other chars.
