Mages/priests (except HoX and Bear Sharman) get the ability to spell-weave (SW) at lvl 50.
What it basically does it the following:
- Spellweaving has 6 stages: each stage gives you a bonus to your spells
- at each stage you can select secondary temporay bonus that give you a short boost to spells (e.g. increase crit change) or short stamina regeneration boost.
- it looks nice

- it will cost you as well:
-- Stamina goes down, if you don't have any stamina left you health goes down ... yes you can kill yourself with spellweaving if you don't pay attention
-- at each spellweaving stage you get a chance to get a de-buff on you of varying strength and type (e.g. mana lose over time)
-- Mana cost increase (at least with some of the temporary bonus spells
-- you are immobile during spellweaving itself and can't active (you can before you start spellweaving) potions etc.
So you increase your 'lethality' but it makes you more 'vulnerability' as well
