Modo's AAS & UI setup
Basic melee tips:
Melee in AoC is cone based - that is, anything in a small arc in front of you can be hit by your melee weapon, not just the target you have selected. Using head on attacks will hit everything in a (roughly 40 degree) arc in front of you, left/right attacks adjust the cone from that direction. Getting to grips with this is a good way to allow you to hit all the mobs you can (applies to tanks and melee dps).
Try and have the mob in the middle of any group targetted, this way you will maximise your combos and white hits. Also, any aoe splash will focus from that mob and also maximise your damage.

In this case, having the middle mob targeted will ensure all 5 mobs are hit every time and this like Shrapnel will hit all mobs.
How Modo slices and dices:
Modo likes big groups so his Dance of Death + Shrapnel (from Wreck Armour) + Overpower + Jagged Cut does as much harm as possible. He stays in Reaver Stance so he can spam Overpower & Savage Fury - and having Without Warning (AAS) maxed means each 5 secs he can increase his Reaver Stance Stack after a combo is finished (which is why I have the lower rank combos on the bar - there's another reason for that which I'll come to).
Single Targets normally are a mix of Cyclone and Wreck after applying the Jagged Cut & Wreck Armour debuffs; Boss fights start with Jagged Cut. Wreck Armour is applied to keep the armour debuff at 5 stacks.
Savage Fury is kept up as much as possible in fights - the extra dmg and stamina regen help and means Modo rarely needs to use a stamina pot or Second Wind.
Certain fights will require a short dps window (Chatha has 25 seconds for example, Hathor Ka has small windows when she teleports) so using lower rank combos helps keep dps going without having to break off mid-combo; also quick combos can be used to increase Reaver when the Without Warning blocker is off.
Using this setup is fairly easy - Wreck Armour, Overpower and Dance of Death all give a nice dps output either single or multiple targets (obviously it's better suited to multiple
