Hi all again! I am glad to say, that I´m finally back in the game!

I played only a few weeks and then I had to stop due to personal problems... It was a pity. I didn´t understand a lot of things in the game and I had to stop when I played the first time with the perfect people from BoA. Some BoA memebers, like Alb or Gert already know, that I am very bothersome and I am always asking a bunch of questions, when I don´t understand something. It´s the same now... For example, I don´t know what are raids good for, why don´t we attack other guild cities, what are "Gems" and a lot of other things.
Two day ago I wrote a message and only a few minutes after that I was nicely welcomed. I have to tell you all only one thing.. THANK YOU!
Thank you for patient answering my noob questions, for giving me advices, for helping me ingame, for not throwing me out of this perfect group of perfect people and for a big WELCOME BACK for me. I am impressed.
I am really looking forward to play with you again and I can´t wait for reaching lvl 80 with my Conq.
I hope you have a lot of patience, because maybe I´ll need more answers to my questions.

As a welcome back

Raids - these are often referred to as "end-game content"; requires a larger than normal group (in AoC's case, 24 players) to work together to take down challenging bosses for items that are often the best a game has to offer. AoC has 4 sets of raids - Tier 1 (T1) is Kylikki (2 bosses), Yakhmar (1 boss, no trash to kill), Vistrix (1 boss - used to be the raid that got you into Tier 2); Tier 2 is Black Ring Citadel (BRC) and has 3 Wings - Wing 1 is the most commonly run due the Shards that drop there (these are needed for T2 and T3 crafted weapons, and large bags); Tier 3 is Toth Amon's Stronghold and requires a good raid to clear; Tier 3.5 is Temple of Elrik in Turan (with what is claimed to be the hardest raid boss in-game atm); Tier 4 is Jade Citadel and is still incomplete (only 2 bosses).

Guild cities - these aren't attackable; the only things that are attackable are Battlekeeps and these are limited to 8 per server; they are a copy of guild cities but required 2 raids (48 players) to attack or defend. Not much happens with these as the sieges are prone to bugs at the moment.

Gems - these are used to add stats to crafted items (for example Grounding Cabochon Diamond offers extra protection from electrical damage). Some gems are specific to weapons or armour.
