Too bad it takes 30 days to train Red Shadows of Xotli (8 min cd self-res and significant damage boost, especially in demon form) :/ Well, at least I can gain XP in the meanwhile that be put to good use elsewhere.

Re: After seeing the HoX AA Feats
Still not familiar of how this AA goes (how many points can you put into one perk, is there a limit to perks, etc).
But from a PvE point of view the most noticeable ones are:
- Empowered Hellfire Breath
- Empowered Pillar of Infernal Flame ( i reckon that in conjunction with Avatar of Xotli Demon Maw Exultation we should see sweet numbers
)
- Enslaving Fire ... with 3 combos for the Pillar maybe it will be a way to mainly use this if this one proves to be good.
- Hunger for More it's an excellent AOE ability.. usable for soloing and also good for the trash inside dungeons raids.
- Red Shadow of Xotli seems really nice but I am afraid of the static bonuses but will see (also I hope it won't share the same CD with Undying Glory of Xotli)
- Prince of Terror - free DPS is free DPS since we will use combos .. unholy damage added to the finishers is good.
Now... again .. can't wait to get home and see the things for myself .. stuck at work for another 8h and then 2h at gym ... joy
Also, if anybody has more ideas/visions/comments let's share them here.
Regards,
Bal.

AAS ... when you get enough MAstery XP (same applies to Prowness in PvP) you get x Mastery and Y Expertice Points. Mastery can be invested into the first 2 columns Expertice can be invested into all 3 columns.
Each AAS feat (passive feats and the active Perks) costs a certain amount of "Points" per rank ... the description should say how many you need. if you got enough you can raise the rank of an AAS feat. If the feat is passive it is imideatly active, if the feat is a Perk (the description should say "Perk" or so) the you need to equip the Perk into your Perk bar to make it Active. Learned Perks are all under the Abilities, etc. tab. Those Perks can be swamped out, more or less at will, depending on the situation you face (no gold required).
The 2nd way of learning a AAS feat is through a time based system ... you switch to that (via an option at the bottom of the AAS screen ... I think) and then select the perk you want to train. It shgould tell you who long it will take. This is ideal either for feats you want to learn over night or characters you don't plan to play tooo often.
The first row of AAS feats is available from lvl 20 onwards.
The 2nd and 3rd row are only available at lvl 80 and are locked until you have learned (iirc) a certain amount of ranks (or was it putting a certain amount of points) into previous columns, aka the 2nd Row (archtype feats) require 5 ranks in the general feat row, the 3rd row (class feats) requires 10 ranks in the general and/or archtype rows.
Most AAS feat (iirc) has 5 ranks ... so 1 rank isn't equal to 1 Mastery Point ... how much a Rank costs should be written in the description. Major Perks ... probably just have 1 rank, but take up 2 Perk slots in the perk bar.
Eventually you can learn all of the AAS feats ... but naturally that might take a loooooooooong time, which would mean the ALL passive feats you can learn will be active
However, you can ONLY equip a maximum of 2 Perks from each row (aka general, archtype and class perks) with some perks occupying 2 perk slots. The time involved in learning them makes it at the beginning important to priorities depending on what you want to do with a specific class.

After seeing the HoX AA Feats
I did a full BRC run with a avatar+poss build and the Red Shadows of Xotli perk.
1050 DPS single-target on AB in Wing 3, not too bad for a mediocre single-target class. That would be the same as decent sins and barbs.
1670 DPS Seruah. Not the same as skilled Necro, Demo and ToS but still very nice.
1050 DPS for Wing 2, pretty good and about the same as skilled Necro, Demo and ToS.
1260 DPS for Wing 3, same as above.
Overall I'm happy with the perk and will test it on the Keeper tonight, if not using my Demo.
I'm still rusty with the old build so it has a lot of potential.
